Incessant rains bring down the mercury level
Patna, Jan 23 (UNI) The city dwellers as well as people in the neighbouring districts had to face gloomy weather today as incessant rains since last night disrupted life.
Large areas of the state capital witnessed traffic snarls following the inclement weather, which also brought down the temperature considerably, forcing the people to remain indoors.
The local Met office said the maximum temperature was recorded at 15 degrees Celsius while the minimum was six degrees Celsius.
The maximum relative humidity was pegged at 98 per cent.
The city has recorded 32.4 mm rainfall so far.
Meanwhile, a report from Munger in South Bihar said the district recorded 12 mm rainfall, adding that the rain would immensely help Rabbi crops.
Moreover, the system was likely to intensify further and under its impact, moderate rainfall would continue in the region during the next 24 hours, Met sources added.
