Four killed, 10 injured as bus hits tree in K'taka village
Davanagere, Karnataka, Jan 23 (UNI) Four people, including two siblings were killed on the spot and ten injured when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus in which they where travelling rammed into a roadside tree near Nanditavare village, about 40 km from here early today.
Police said the mishap occurred when the victims, identified as Suresh (35), Rohit Kumar (12), his brother Nitish (16), and Zabiulha (26) were returning here from Shimoga.
The injured were admitted to the District hospital here.
The bus driver fled after the incident, police added.
