Four burnt alive as two lorries collides in AP

Karimnagar, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 23 (UNI) Four people were charred to death when a lorry in which they were travelling caught fire after it collided head-on with another lorry at the by-pass road near the town today.

Police said the sand-laden lorry from Godavarikhani, proceeding to Hyderabad, collided with a cotton-laden lorry, on its way here from Hyderabad.

The lorries were completely gutted following the collision.

The bodies were yet to be identified, police added.
