Ballarpur Ind net up 7.32% at Rs 66.70 cr

New Delhi, Jan 23 (UNI) Ballarpur Industries Ltd today said it has registered a growth of 7.32 per cent per cent at Rs 66.70 crore for the second quarter ending December 2007, against Rs 62.15 crore over the same period a year ago.

Its total income has increased by 2.33 per cent at at Rs 618.19 crore for FYQ208, where as the same was at Rs 604.07 crore during the corresponding period last year.

The Group's consolidated results has posted a hike of 18.30 per cent in net profit after taxation, minority interest and share in associates of Rs 73.88 crore for the quarter ended December 2007, where as the same was at Rs 62.45 crore in the same period previous year.

Its consolidated total income stood at Rs 749 crore for the quarter ended December 2007, registering a profit of 23.35 per cent over the previous year's figure of Rs 607.17 crore UNI PBB SBA HT1622
