Tamil Nadu Newsprint Q3 net up 27.71%

New Delhi, Jan 22 (UNI) Leader in computer stationary Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Ltd (TNPL) today said it registered 27.71 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 28.48 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 22.30 crore for the same period a year ago.

The largest exporter of wood-free paper TNPL posted Rs 238.86 crore total revenue, up 7.57 per cent from Rs 222.04 crore in the said period.
