Shekhawat undergoes minor surgery at AIIMS
New Delhi, Jan 22 (UNI) Former Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat underwent a minor surgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here this morning.
Prof Anurag Srivastava and Dr Sushma Sagar successfully removed the skin lesion from the upper right side of his face.
The operation, which took about an hour, was conducted in the presence of the former Vice President's personal physician Dr R S Rathore and Dr S S Haldia, sources said.
''Mr Shekhawat is cheerful and his health condition stable,'' they added.
However, there was no information about his date of discharge.
