Grasim Industries net up 34% to Rs 553.79cr

New Delhi, Jan 22 (UNI) Grasim Industries Ltd today said its net profit increased 34 per cent to Rs 553.79 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 compared to Rs 411.58 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Total Income has increased 15 per cent to Rs 2,694.96 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 from Rs 2,324.61 crore in the same period last year.

The consolidated results of the group posted a net profit of Rs 721.86 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 559.31 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Total Income has increased from Rs 3,732.99 crore for the third quarter compared to Rs 4,448.83 crore in the same period last year.
