Director's daughter attempts suicide

Chennai, Jan 22 (UNI) Ms Saranya Bhagyaraj, daughter of famous director Bhagyaraj, today attempted suicide by consuming poison.

Police sources said she was admitted to a private hospital at Adyar.

The reason behind the suicide attempt was not immediately known.

However, police suspect it to be a case of 'love failure'.
