Two minors seriously injured in road accident in Bengal

Barasat, Jan 21: Two children were seriously injured today when their bicycle was knocked down by a speeding truck on Jessore road at Champadali crossing near the district headquarters in North 24 Parganas.

Police said the victims - a 13-year old boy and his nine-year old sister - were on way to their school along with their father when the accident occurred.

Both the injured were admitted to the district hospital where condition of the girl was stated to be critical, police added.
