Telugu Ganga project to be completed during kharif season
Hyderabad, Jan 21 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was today assured that the Telugu Ganga project including the distributory and tail-end canals, would be completed during the kharif season.
The Chief Minister, who reviewed the problems regarding land acquisition and other matters related to the project said, if there was any problem in completing of the project, his office should be informed.
Dr Reddy asked the officials concerned to rectify any anomalies in the land acquisition compensation.
The Chief Minister was assured that land acquisitions would be completed by March 31. The officials should coordinate and work on war footing to complete the work, a release said.
