Nagaland: Engineer rescued by police

Kohima, Jan 20: The Dimapur police rescued an engineer of a private company, who was abducted by unknown miscreants on January 16.

Official sources said here today that acting on a tip-off, police raided the Tenyiphe-1 area of Dimapur town yesterday and rescued the abducted engineer, identified as one Subroto Bose, a resident of New Barrackpore in West Bengal, who was working at the PABSCON.

Meanwhile, police registered a case and launched a manhunt to nab the kidnappers, the sources added.
