However, Patel did not disclose if Kamat has agreed to make some changes in his Cabinet to resolve the present crisis. Kamat had arrived in New Delhi on Friday for talks with Central leaders. On Wednesday, the seven-month-old Government was reduced to a minority after three NCP MLAs along with Rane withdrew their support to the government.
The Goa Legislative Assembly was prorogued on Thursday following Kamat's recommendation.
The ministers and a few ruling legislators were reportedly unhappy over functioning of State Finance Minister Dayanand Narvekar.
