Youth run over by train in Ambala City

Ambala, Jan 19 (UNI) A youth was run over by a moving train at the Ambala city railway station today, police said.

A ticket recovered from the pocket of the deceased showed that he was to board a train for Patiala.

The youth, in his twenties, remained unidentified and his dead body was sent for post-mortem by the Railway Police.

In another accident, an old man, identified as 65-year-old Bhag Singh and resident of Ranjit Nagar Ambala City, died under mysterious circumstances.

The Railway staff had noticed him in an injured condition near level-crossing close to the station yesterday.

He was admitted to the hospital for treatment but died during night.
