Man commits suicide in south Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 19 (UNI) Police today said a 57-year-old man had committed suicide in his south Delhi residence.

Diwakar Dutt, a resident of Pushp Vihar, was found hanging in a room in his house by his family today.

A suicide note was recovered in which Dutt said he had taken the extreme step due to job problems and health issues.

Dutta had gone to a wedding in Faridabad along with his family on January 17 but returned home alone yesterday, police added.

When his family came today, they found the front door locked.

However, the back entrance was open and they discovered him hanging in a room at the rear of the house.
