Court grants bail to molestation accused

Dharamshala, Jan 19 (UNI) A local court granted anticipatory bail to a teacher of the Tanda Medical College who was booked for allegedly molesting a girl student.

The court granted bail to Surender Sharma, head of the Bio Chemistry Department yesterday.

The girl, a BSc first year student of Medical Laboratory Technology, in her complaint had alleged that Sharma, had molested her.

Though the accused was reportedly absconding, a case had been registered against him under Section 353 and 324 of the IPC at Kangra police station.
