TN: 3 killed, 5 injured in road accident

Virudhunagar (Tamil Nadu), Jan 18: Three people, including a woman, were killed and five seriously injured when a car in which they were travelling collided with a tanker lorry at Soolakkarai area on the Madurai-Kovilpatti Highway here this morning.

State Special Branch police sources said the deceased were yet to be identified. The injured were admitted to the Government Hospital here.

Traffic on the highway was disrupted for two hours, following the mishap, the sources added.
