'Sadhu' killed in explosion in Sagar

Saga (MP), Jan 18: A 'sadhu' was today killed in an explosion in a hut on Sagar-Jhamar road in this district, police said today.

Superintendent of Police Hari Singh Yadav said Sadhu Phool Singh had lit a fire in his hut, at the entry of a road leading to Rangir temple. He had put some materials in the fire when the explosion took place, in which he was killed.

A Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team and a police team reached the spot.

The incident was being taken seriously in view of the fact that Bharatiya Janshakti President Uma Bharti was to make a last halt at the temple.
