Robin Uthappa congratulates Anil Kumble
Bangalore, Jan 18(UNI) Dashing Team India opener Robin Uthappa today congratulated ace legie Anil Kumble for taking 600 and more wicket in the Test Cricket achieved yesterday during the ongoing Second test against Australia at Perth.
Uthappa, who was here in connection with Gillette's launch of the National 10-10 Gully Cricket Tournament here, said that "it was a fantastic achievement and Kumble is a great bowler." When Rahul Drivid took a brilliant catch to dismiss Andrew Symonds in the first innings Kumble became the first Indian to achieve the mark and the third bowler in the world to cross 600 wicket mark after Muthaiah Muralitharan (723) and Shane Warne (708).
Uthappa declined to answer any questions on Cricket due to ban by the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI).
