Punjab R-Day function to be held at Patiala
Chandigarh, Jan 18 (UNI) The state-level Republic Day function of Punjab will be held at Patiala on January 26 where the Punjab Governor, Gen (Retd) S F Rodrigues would unfurl the National Flag and take the salute.
Stating this here today a spokesman of the Punjab Government said that Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal would hoist the National Flag at Ludhaina and Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Nirmal Singh Kahlon would unfurl the flag at Gurdaspur.
The Cabinet Ministers would also hoist the National Flag on Republic Day at various places, the spokesman said.
