Prominent personalities coming for AU alumni meet

Allahabad, Jan 18 (UNI) Union Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh and Andhra Pradesh governor N D Tiwary are among the noted personalities, who have sent their biodata for the Allahabad University alumni meet starting February 16.

Chairman of alumni meet Sunit Vyas said other prominent personalities include former Chief Justice of India K N Singh, Justice V N Khare, Justice J S Verma, a number of sitting judges of Allahabad High Court, former Karnataka governor Govind Narain, former ambassador to the US Naresh Chandra, former secretory general Rajya Sabha R C Tripathi, former chief secretary UP Yogendra Narain, home secretary Madhukar Gupta, ex CM New Delhi Madan Lal Khurana.

He hoped the three-day alumni meet would be historic as it was being held after the AU became a Central varsity.
