NDTV's revenues for Q3 at Rs 89.5 cr

Mumbai, Jan 18 (UNI) The NDTV revenues touched Rs 89.5 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 compared to Rs 67.5 crore in the same quarter of previous fiscal.

The Earning Before Income Tax Assessed (EBIDTA) rose to Rs 21.54 crore from Rs 18 crore in the same quarter of previous fiscal.

NDTV's PAT on a like-to-like comparison, excluding the costs associated with NDTV MetroNation, with same quarter last year is Rs 10.57 crore compared to Rs 7.06 crore last year for the same period, a growth of 50 per cent.

NDTV consolidated revenues rose to Rs 108.5 crore, up by 37 per cent, compared to Rs 79.4 crore in the same quarter last year.

NDTV's General Entertainment Channel, NDTV Imagine programming pre-view has received an overwhelming response from media and critics even before its launch.

With NDTV Imagine's launch, NDTV completes the first round of new channel launches as announced at expansion plans a year ago.

Apart from this, NDTV Metronation captures over 11 per cent market share (National Capital region) within three months of its launch, ahead of several national news channels. NDTV's first lifestyle channel, Good Times acquires market leadership in the lifestyle genre, winning best channel of the year award.
