Gowda confident of forming govt in K'taka
Kolar Gold Fields, Karnataka, Jan 18 (UNI) Former Prime Minister and JD(S) National President H D Deve Gowda today expressed confidence that his party would form a government on its own after the Assembly elections.
Talking to newspersons here, he said he had embarked on a state-wide tour to prepare a congenial atmosphere for his son H D Kumaraswamy to address election rallies.
''Some persons have created confusion in the minds of the people following party's withdrawal of support to the BJP,'' he said.
He said the work done by Mr Kumaraswamy during his tenure as Chief Minister was well appreciated by the people.

that
he
would
keep
away
from
national
politics
till
the
Assembly
elections
were
over,
Mr
Gowda
said
''his
first
priority
is
to
set
things
right
in
his
house
(state).''
On
the
third
front,
he
said
''third
front
will
be
formed,
but
only
after
the
general
elections.''
When
asked
whether
delimitation
of
constituencies
would
be
taken
up
in
the
state
before
the
Assembly
elections,
Mr
Gowda
said
''it
is
up
to
Election
Commission
to
decide
on
it.
However,
my
party
is
prepared
to
face
the
elections
whether
the
delimitation
takes
place
or
not.''
