Goverment mulls ordinance on Temporary lecturers

Jaipur, Jan 18 (UNI) Rajasthan government moots regularisation of all temporary lecturers working in universities fulfiling the eligibility criteria set by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Addressing a press conference here today the Higher Education Minister Kalicharan Saraf said the government wants to regularise all temporary lecturers and intends to bring in an ordinance to this effect. He said the regualrisation will be possible only if the candidate fulfills all eligibility criteria.

Mr Saraf also said five new private universities are also in the pipeline.
