Constable caught with bribe of Rs.10,000
Jaipur, Jan 18(UNI) Anti-corruption Bureau has arrested a police constable posted at Ramgarh police station in Alwar district while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000.
Director general of ACB K S Bains said the constable demanded the money to change the section under which a case has been registered in the police station.
Complainant Sahun Mev said his sister-in-law was booked for cheating and the police constable Tara Chand demanded Rs,15000 for changing the section under which the case was registered, which later he settled for Rs10,000.
The constbale was arrested while accepting the bribe and produced in the court.
