Cong to announce MP bypoll candidate next month

Betul, MP, Jan 18 (UNI) Congress General Secretary V Narayanasamy, who holds charge of Madhya Pradesh, today said that the party would next month announce its candidate for the Betul Lok Sabha byelection.

After taking the opinion of workers, Mr Narayanasamy told mediapersons here that he would submit a report to the high command.

Denying severe groupism and inactivity in the district's Congress organisation, he said, ''enthusiasm prevails among the workers.'' The bypoll was necessitated by the demise of Bharatiya Janata Party MP Vijay Khandelwal.
