Amara Raja Batteries launches 'Powerzone' in TN

Chennai, Jan 18 (UNI) Amara Raja Batteries, a prominent player in industrial and automotive batteries in India, launched a new retail store format - Powerzone - at Wallajah in Vellore District of the state to cater to the growing need in rural markets for better technology and service at affordable prices.

'Powerzone' would offer top quality automotive and power-related products for rural households and shops, a company release here today claimed.

It would be a one-stop-shop offering a range of products of global quality at local prices including automotive and tractor batteries and home UPS.

Amara Raja Batteries Managing Director Jayadev Galla said "our target is to have at least one Powerzone outlet in every Taluk Head Quarters in India in the next two years.

Going ahead, Powerzone will also offer other power-related products, which will be sourced from reputed international sources." UNI SNR GM 1554
