Videocon to start mobile services by 2008

New Delhi, 12 Jan, 2008 : Consumer electronics major Videocon might roll out its mobile services by the end of 2008. The consumer major announced its intention to foray into telecoms through a press statement on Thursday 11th January.

The statement also said that Videocon"s subsidiary Datacom has already received a Letter of Intent from the Department of Telecom for starting GSM-based mobile services on a pan-India basis.
