Tata to create independent production hubs

New Delhi, Jan 17, 2008 : After Nano, it"s time for some more innovations at Tata Motors. The country"s largest auto maker is now planning to reorganise its manufacturing operations through different hubs.

The car maker plans to come out with independent production hubs that will focus on making different vehicles at different locations, instead of the earlier integrated facility.
