Indian PM meets Chinese President Hu Jintao

Beijing, China, Jan 15, 2008 : Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that India and China must do everything in their power to strengthen their multi-faceted cooperation and build new ties of friendship and partnership as he held talks with Chinese President Hu Jintao on January 15.

China and India agreed to strengthen cooperation between railway ministries, state economic planning bodies and in the area of urban poverty alleviation.
