India aims to conclude IAEA pact talks this month

New Delhi, 12 Jan, 2008 : Addressing a news conference in New Delhi on 11 January , India's Foreign Secretary, Shiv Shanker Menon expressed hope to wrap up talks with the UN nuclear watchdog, IAEA, this month.

India is holding talks with IAEA, International Atomic Energy Agency, for a safeguard pact needed to advance a controversial civilian nuclear energy deal with the United States.
