Deepika to star opposite Rajnikant in Robot

New Delhi, 12 Jan, 2008 : After a dream debut opposite Bollywood Badshaah Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om, Deepika Padukone appears all set to take the Southern film industry by storm.

The actress might possibly grab a role opposite Tamil superstar Rajinikanth in Shankar"s big-budget film Robot. According to media reports Padukone is one of the top contenders for the role in the Rs 100-crore venture by director Shankar.
