Blast in Karachi kills 10, injures 40

Karachi, Jan 15, 2008 : At least eight people were killed and 40 wounded in a roadside bomb explosion in Pakistan's biggest city of Karachi on January 14th. According to police sources, the bomb was planted in a motorcycle parked in the area.

Dozens of people gathered at the site of the explosion and chanted anti-government slogans after the blast. Paramilitary Rangers were later deployed in the area.
