RIL Q3 up by 162 per cent to Rs 8079 cr for Q3

{image-RIL70 70_17012008.jpg news.oneindia.in}New Delhi, Jan 17: Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) today said its net profit has jumped 162 per cent to Rs 8,079 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 3,081 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.Its total income increased 23 per cent to Rs 34,831 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 28,315 crore in the same quarter last year.
