Ranbaxy Q4 standalone net slips 65% to Rs 48.4 cr
New Delhi, Jan 17 (UNI) Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd today said its net profit on a standalone basis for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2007, slipped 65 per cent to Rs 48.4 crore as compared to Rs 139.7 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Its total income has, however, increased eight per cent to Rs 1,118.1 crore for the fourth quarter compared to Rs 1035.3 crore in the same period last year.
For the calendar year the company posted a net profit of Rs 622.9 crore for the year ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 380.54 crore, registering a 64 per cent growth.
Its total income increased to Rs 4,375.5 crore for the year ended December 31, 2007 compared to Rs 4,007.8 crore last year.
