Rain or thunder showers forecast in northern and western Raj

Jaipur, Jan 17(UNI) The weather department has forecast rain or thunder shpwers in northern and western parts of the state.

The western disturbances have pushed up the minimum temperature by a few degrees bringing relief to the people from the icy winds blowing from the northern parts of the country.

In Jaipur, the sky remained overcast throughout the day. Churu and Ganganagar recorded a minimum temperature of 9.9 degree Ceslius, while Mount Abu reported 7, Dabok(Udaipur) 10, Pilani 11, Jaipur and Jaisalmer 13, Bikaneer and Kota 14, Jodhpur and Ajmer 15, and Barmer 16 degrees.
