Police vehicle set ablaze, two injured in accident in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jan 17 (UNI) A violent mob today set on fire a police after whicle it hit a load carrier, injuring the driver, at Bemina on the city outskirts.
Official sources said a bullet proof gypsy hit a load carrier at Bemina, critically wounding driver Bilal Ahmad Mata.
A crowd, which was waiting at nearby bus stand damaged the vehicle before setting it on fire. However, the blaze was immediately brought under control, the sources said adding the situation was now normal.
In another incident one Ghulam Ahmad Balky was wounded when a car, he was driving, turned turtle at Chandhera on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway. The injured was hospitalised.
