Paramilitary forces hold flag march in Vadodara
Vadodara, Jan 17 (UNI) Paramilitary forces held a flag march in sensitive areas of Vadodara in the wake of communal violence here two days ago.
The police commissioner, meanwhile, requisitioned more security forces in view of Muharram on January 19.
Two batallions of paramilitary forces have already moved in and held flag march in sensitive areas of Panigate, Mandvi and Bawmanpur.
On January 14, Tazia processions in Vadodara had turned violent and fifteen people, including three policemen, were injured after police resorted to firing and lobbed teargas shells to quell the protestors.
