MP bags most medals at Natl Youth Fest
Bhopal, Jan 17 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Tukojirao Puar has extended his best wishes to youths who brought fame to this state by receiving the maximum medals in the National Youth Festival 2008 held at Chennai from January 12 to 16.
''I expect even better performance in future,'' he said, as per an official release issued here.
Surendra Swarnkar, Umesh Upadhyay and Ambili received golds in flute-playing, oratory and Bharatanatyam respectively. Sangeeta Goswami received a silver in classical music and the state team took third spot in folk dance.
