New Delhi, Jan 17 (UNI) India and Syria today agreed to boost bilateral trade.
The decision was taken in their Joint Commission Meeting held here today.
The JCM was attended by delegations of the two countries headed by Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath and Syria Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Abdullah Dardari. They called for greater interaction between business communities of the two countries.
The JCM also decided on exchange visits and participation in fairs, exhibitions and buyer-seller meets.
The Syrian delegation included Higher Education Minister Abdullah Dardari, Elecricity Minister Ahmed Khaled Al-Ali and Planning Commission head Tayseer Suleiman Ridawi.
