Duplicate Cds, DVDs, VCDs worth Rs 4.93 lakh seized
Mumbai, Jan 17 (UNI) The Social Service Branch (SSB) of city police today seized Cds, DVDs, MP3s and VCDs worth Rs 4,93 lakh from the possession of three people at Bhandup in eastern suburb today.
Acting on a tip-off that duplicate Cds, DVDs, MP3s and VCDs were being sold near Suvidha Saree centre, Bhandup in eastern suburb, a SSB sleuth conducted a raid there and seized goods worth Rs 4,93,100. The arrested persons were identified as Sameer Khan alias Sameer (25), Faizal Shaikh (19) and Iqbal Samsuddin Ansari (19).
They were booked under the Copyright Act, the sources added.
