CPI(M) stresses on industrialisation to meet unemployed problem

Kolkata, Jan 17 (UNI) The CPI(M) today reiterated that setting up of industries was the only panacea to lessening the unemployed problem.

In a statement here after the 22nd state party conference, the party said, '' Though creation of cent per cent job opportunities is not possible within the present state infrastructure, we are trying to set up new industries, using the growing demand of the state market. '' Targetting more employment, the statement said, '' The Left Front Government is working towards setting up industries with agriculture as the base to create more and more job opportunities. '' The party also demanded total land reforms throughout the country, increase of the Centre's assistance in agricultural sector and institutional loan, 100-days guaranteed jobs for all, implementation of financial policy for building up new company instead of investment in share market.
