Cong MLA booked for misbehaving with official
Lucknow, Jan 17 (UNI) Congress MLA Pankaj Mallik was today booked for alleged misbehavior with District Development Officer (DDO) in Muzaffarnagar.
MLA Pankaj Mallik and DDO Brahm Dutt had gone to attend a meeting presided by District Magistrate R Ramesh, where the MLA and his aides allegedly mishandled the DDO, state principal secretary home R P Mishra said here.
Following the complaint of Mr Dutt, a case was registered against the MLA.
Mr Dutt alleged that the MLA manhandled him and issued life threats, besides, using derogatory words against him.
Later, Development Department employees went on strike demanding the MLA's arrest.
The accused was yet to be arrested.
