Arunachal MP unhappy with PM's China visit

New Delhi, Jan 17 (UNI) BJP MP from Arunachal Pradesh Kiron Rijiju today expressed his unhappiness over Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's failure to extract assurances from China during his recent visit to settle the border disputes between the two countries without disturbing the populated areas.

Mr Rijiju in a statement here said there was already an agreement between the two countries that the border talks should not disturb the populated areas but China was staking claim over Tawang district.

''We have sent him our best wishes to get a good deal but PM seems to return without securing any such hopes'', he remarked.
