35 illegal migrants deported to Bangladesh
Kishanganj, Jan 17 (UNI) As many as 35 Bangladeshi nationals, who had sneaked into the Indian side and settled down in Delhi, were ferreted out and brought to Kishanganj today for deportation to their own country.
A group of Bangladeshi illegal migrants, including over half a dozen women, were escorted to Kishanganj by a Delhi police team headed by Sub-Inspector of police (SI) Kulbir Singh.
Police said they were kept waiting at Kishanganj station to be handed over to the Border Security Force.
The Delhi police team comprised about ten cops, including some lady constables.
The immigrants, who possessed no transport or any travel documents, were staying in Delhi for periods varying from six month to years, the police informed.
Earlier, 53 Bangladeshi nationals were handed over to the BSF at Malda for their deportation, police said.
