Two IAS officers have providential escape

Karnal, Jan 16 (UNI) Two IAS officers of Haryana and their driver had a providential escape when their car met with an accident on the NH-1 near Shamgarh village here today.

Deputy Principal Secretary to Haryana chief minister and Director Public Relations K K Khandelwal and Commissioner Cooperative Haryana R R Jeol were on way to Delhi for a meeting in their official car.

Their vehicle rammed into a Rajasthan Roadways bus headed to Jaipur, when the bus driver suddently applied break to save a cattle on the road.

Taraori SHO Ram Kumar Sharma promptly reached the spot and got the damaged car removed from the highway.

The officials resumed their journey for Delhi in another car.
