TRS MPs, MLAs threaten UPA to resign on March 6 on Telangana issue

Hyderabad, Jan 16 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and former Union Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao today announced that the party's MPs, MLAs and MLCs would resign from their posts if the UPA Government at the Centre did not declare the formation of Telangana state by March six.

Demanding that the ruling Congress immediately write a letter supporting statehood to Telangana to the UPA Sub-Committee on the Telnagana issue chaired by Union Minister Pranab Mukherjee, he said four TRS MPs would resign from the Lok Sabha, 16 MLAs from the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and three MLCs from the State Council during the budget session.
