Soren fails to appear in Jamtara court
Jamtara, Jan 16 (UNI) Former Coal Minister and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha President Sibu Soren today failed to appear before a local court here in connection with the three-decade-old Chirudih massacre case.
However, 21 other accused were produced before Additional District and Sessions Judge(first class) Arun Kumar here.
Soren's counsel pleaded that his client was busy with a party function organised in Gumla.
The court accepted Soren's plea and granted relaxation for the day.
Altogether 11 people were killed at Chirudih village under Narayanpur police station area in 1975.
