Paryaya crisis would be solved today: Pejavar Seer

Udupi, Jan 16 (UNI) Sri Vishvesha Thirtha Swamiji of Udupi Pejavar Mutt today said the crisis on Paryaya would be solved tonight and it would be made public tomorrow.

Talking to newspersons at the mutt here, where Swamiji is observing fast since yesterday, said efforts were on to solve the problem. It would be settled with Puthige Seer amicably, he added.

Pejavar Seer declined to comment whether non-religious conditions were agreed by him or withdrawn by Puthige pontiff.

The pontiff said he had not received any information on Puthige seer meeting him on the issue.

The pontiff said he was observing fast to pray Lord Krishna to solve the crisis and also to pave way for smooth Paryaya.

Sri Ravi Shankar of Art of Living, had extended his support to the cause taken by the pontiff to protect the tradition and customs of the temple.

Earlier, Sri Sugunendra Thirtha Swamiji said he would meet Pejavar pontiff to solve the problem.

Puthige Seer, who also observed a day fast said Suyameendra from Mantralaya met him and Pejavar pontiff to put an end to the crisis.
