Major fire at plastic godown in Nashik
Nashik, Jan 16 (UNI) A major fire broke out at an unauthorised plastic godown near the Pandavleni caves, adjacent to the Mumbai-Agra National Highway No 3 here today.
According to sources, the fire broke out at around 1545 hrs at an unauthorised plastic depot on a private plot near the famous Pandavleni caves.
According to Nashik Municipal Corporation Chief Fire Officer Anil Mahajan, the plastic was stored at the place by some unknown rag-pickers.
As many as 16 fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the fire. However, no human casualty or financial loss was reported in the fire.
