Jammu, Jan 16 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government today presented another ''zero deficit'' budget with an annual plan outlay up at Rs 5,518 crore for the next financial year 2008-09, as against Rs 4,850 in the current fiscal ending March 31.
The budgetary plan, which was presented by Finance Minister Tariq Hameed Karra, included the state plan for the financial year 2009 at Rs 4,500 crore and the allocation of Rs 1,018 crore under Prime Minister's reconstruction plan.
However, the Rs 750 crore under Centre Sponsored Scheme (CSS) will be over an above the plan of Rs 5518 crore.
The government has planned the off-budget developmental expenditure for financial year 2009 up at Rs 1,150 crore, as against Rs 800 crore in the current fiscal.
